Melissa Wright, RN is making PHP
t-shirts, hoodies, and book bags to help raise money for
a lobbyist. This lobbyist will work to help us get
changes to outdated rules and to get a reasonable
increase in our rate of pay when the next state budget
is approved.
Melissa is not making any money
on doing this. She is donating her time to get
supplies and make the shirts. After the cost of
the supplies, the rest goes to PHP for the lobbyist.
These shirts are excellent ways
to advertise for your self-employment nursing business.
Advertising expense is tax deductible.
The shirts and hoodies come in
three colors. They are white, gray, and tan. The backs of all clothing have a
large "PHP" with a background in lighter print of our
full name. Our logo is to the left of "Proud Member"
under the large PHP and our web site is listed below
this. There are several options to choose from for
the front of the clothing. If you choose "RN" with
"Registered Nurse" in small print on the front, you can
also choose to have the "RN" in regular print or crinkle
print. The regular print is grey and smooth.
The crinkle print has a crinkle appearance on the print
and is brown. Other options are:
A stick figure of a nurse with "I Care." under it
and a large "RN" under that,
"Nurses call the shots!" in pink letters with
syringes and medicine bottles on both sides,
"LPN" in large letters above "Literally Perfect
Nurse!" in smaller letters,
"Nurses are Patient People" is also being
designed.
